ITS ConGlobal Moves Oakland Depot Operations on Burma Road
March 29, 2021 – For Immediate Release
ITS ConGlobal (ITSC), North America’s leading operator of intermodal, finished vehicle, and depot service terminals, announced our second Oakland depot/container yard on Burma Road within the Prologis Oakland Global Logistics Center is moving on April 1, 2021.
Mid-March, the Port of Oakland reported an unprecedented import surge, with volumes soaring 26.2% in February following lower January totals. In cooperation with the leading industrial real estate company, Prologis, and the Port of Oakland, ITS ConGlobal has agreed to move operations from 11 Burma Road to 189 Burma Road, Oakland, CA. 94607.
“We are proud to be centrally located in the Bay Area near the 5th busiest container port in the United States,” shares Jeff Loucks ITS ConGlobal’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “Our new gate is only 100 yards from the current entrance and compliments our Maritime facility located 2 miles away within the Port. The move makes way for a new warehouse facility that will provide a better environment for the entire port community. That’s good news because the Port reported it had the busiest February in its 94-year history.”
Our new location is a 16-acre paved, fenced, and lit facility near Maritime St and Burma Rd’s intersection. Our customers can expect the same service level with container sales, the storage of dry containers, pre-tripping for refrigerated units, and access to chassis pools. ITSC will continue to offer full-service maintenance and repair by our trained and certified in-house staff.
ITSC’s Oakland depot/container yards are mobility hubs with a full suite of service options. For more information about services at either ITSC Oakland facilities, contact manager Yvette Donalaya (ydonalaya@cgini.com) or get a sales quote online https://bit.ly/oaklandsales.
