December 4, 2024—ConGlobal has been selected to operate the first-ever container depot at Wonderful Industrial Park, strategically located in Shafter, California, in the state’s Central Valley. Starting December 9, ConGlobal will manage Wonderful Industrial Park’s container depot operations, offering a range of comprehensive services to its 23 tenants. Currently, the park features approximately 15 million square feet of developed space, with plans to exceed 50 million square feet upon completion. ConGlobal’s operational support includes secure short- and long-term storage for both loaded and empty containers, with wheeled or stacked storage options to meet diverse tenant needs. In addition to storage, ConGlobal provides on-site maintenance, repair, and inspections, ensuring tenants have access to reliable, expertly maintained equipment. The team can service and repair containers, chassis, reefers, and gensets, and prepare refrigerated equipment for food-grade transport through thorough cleaning and pre-tripping.

 To enhance operational efficiency, ConGlobal will install its AI-powered automated checkpoint system at the depot. This innovative technology quickly identifies equipment, authenticates drivers, and validates booking and mission details, significantly reducing turn times and streamlining depot entry and exit processes.
